Families are at the heart of us

Centre for Fun and Families (CFF) support parents, carers and young people who are experiencing behaviour, relationship and mental health challenges. We do this through a variety of group work programmes. CFF was founded in 1990 and has been helping families in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland ever since.

​We also deliver training to professionals across the UK, and our latest training events are advertised on the training page.

Safeguarding young people

At CFF, our first priority is to promote the wellbeing and safety  of children,  young people and families – this is at the very heart of what we do every day:
  • we have written policies and processes that our staff understand and must follow
  • we have nominated leads who advise and support our staff on safeguarding matters
  • we are committed to working openly and cooperatively with young people, with parents and carers, as well as with staff, volunteers and those in other agencies.
This means that if ever we become concerned about someone we will always talk to you about our worries so we can better understand. Our staff will get advice or involve other professionals when they need to ensure someone is truly safe and protected. We will always tell you what is happening and why. ​

Our annual report

Every year we produce an annual report summarising our work and celebrating our successes. As a registered charity, we are always grateful for the support of our funders and donors who enable us to keep helping young people and their families. You can help us to help more young people and families via our donation page. ​
